In contrast with its neighbouring parks,Aqua Green Park has no lakes, but natural part of a river ,no buildings but bamboo made houses, no playgrounds but open field covered all over in green grasses, and no monuments.The park consists almost entirely of mature trees rising out of true root; the only flowers are giving the naturalising feel of the environment.
Best Time to Visit
End of November to February is the best time to visit Silchar. It rains heavily during summer and monsoon and Silchar should be avoided during this time. The vicinity to Barak River is responsible for such climatic conditions.
